Provides case management services for offenders with mental illness who are being discharged from the Mercer County Corrections Center or a NJ State Prison with the intent of avoiding further incarceration or re-hospitalization. New jail diversion component is intended to divert persons with mental illness who may be charged with a misdemeanor from arrest or incarceration. Project includes advisory board focused on improving services for persons with a mental illness who come into contact with the justice system.
